how to find manufactured date of 7 bolt?

The engine in my car is not the original one, when i was looking up main bearings to rebuild it shows 2 different sets for the 7 bolt. Is there a stamp on the block that will tell me what year the block is so i can get the right bearings for it?

The VIN would be your best bet. Put it in CAPS or ASA and see what it gives you. If you don't have either of those, post it here and someone should be able to get that information for you.
