6 bolt cams in 7 bolt head

This seems to be the place to post my ?
Is there any other way to put my hks 272 6 bolt cams in my 7 bolt head,other then drilling and tapping the cams.

Use a 1g CAS.

I used my friends old bc272 out of his 1g in my 2g. Didn't have to do a thing but install them, why do you need to drill and tap anything.

I guess he needs the machining for the cam angle sensor. Maybe your friend had a 7bolt 1G?

It's pretty simple, 97-99's have the cam sensor on the passenger side and the trigger is bolted to the cam. 95-96's have the trigger on the cam gear. Some cams are tapped for the trigger mount bolt, some aren't.

1g cams dont have the hole drilled in them to bollt on the 2g style cam sensor the just have a slot so to use 1g cams in a 2g you have to have a hole drilled and tapped for the 2g sensor or use a 1g sensor. Aftermarket cams can be made for both and have the slot and threaded hole already.

mine has the hole but no threads
with the 1 g cas can i just buy the adapter from rre and be fine car is a 98 and i have v3 full
