My car is not running right. The idle jumps up and down. Has no power when in gear A/T. Onl goes about 15-20 mph. Also the timming is off and Im not sure i can do i my self.

I have a good head that i want to put on, but i dont know what the problem may be:ohdamn:
 
If those numbers are real, then I am suprised your motor still runs. . . That is HELLA low. Also this site is FULL of information, search on how to do the timing belt and fix that issue. Also do a leakdown test, that will determine what the issue is with the low compression numbers.
 
Look in VFAQ for the timing belt write up. Check your timing belt and marks, reset belt as needed.

Did you have all the sprak plugs out?
Did you hold the TB wide open?

Try a diffrent compression gauge, beacuse if your readings are 75-85 psi.. the engine would not run.

After you do the above, and the compression is still low, do a leak down test.
