Just wanted to put this out and see if any one's had an issue like i did last night. I put it in this section since i guess it's the block and head areas.
I was driving in flooding rains last night and the car seemed low on power but i wasn't too worried. Then it started dieing, i would keep it floored to only see a few hundred RPM, then it would seem to clear up and let me drive a bit and then started again.
I"m thinking i may have taken enough water in teh filter to start drownding out the spark, but i've never had that happen in the past so i don't even know how possible that really is. I mean i've had a distributor get wet and lose spark, but this is a DIS system and the only part near the ground was my air filter.
any thoughts?
I guess i'm going to start double time on getting my good engine back together in case i did some real damage.
