I just spent 2 days putting another head back on the GS-T and now it won't run at all! Wtf is wrong with this POS. I can't wait to get rid of it.

I just got done putting the head on I reconnected everything and tried to fire it up with nothing.

Its getting spark and it seems to be getting fuel because I can smell it after it turns over a few times.

The starter seems to be moving faster than the motor though but the cams are turning. The A/C is out and I tried swapping the cas plugs on that side because they are the same and when I switched it, it back fired twice. And that's it.

What am I missing? I have gone through the plugs twice already.

The history on this is that a rod bearing went out last year. I put a low milage short block in with a 800 mile head that had 1mm oversized valves and some other work. It ran crazy rich due to somthing wrong with the head so I pulled that one off a few days ago and installed another head off a 130k GSX that was working till a rod bearing also got it. I put it all back together and now it does not want to start I went through the basics checked all plugs and hoses and everything looks good. Its getting spark. I can smell fuel and I also replaced the fuel filter.
 
Now I got 0-30 compression across the board. WTF...
 
By your description of the starter turning too fast I suspect that your timing is off. You might want to double check your timing marks. Your cam may be off 180 degrees or you may be off a couple of teeth. I would suspect that, with those comp numbers, your cam is off 180.

I'm curious about what was wrong with the other head that it made you run so rich?
