So I've been having this overheating issue and I've tracked it down to the radiator being heat soaked by the turbo components. It usually occurs at idle and although I have a switch that turns on both fans (pusher style) it doesnt do much.

So I've been thinking of adding an aluminum sheet bolted to the radiator shroud mounting points, but should I bend the sheet around the radiator or should I leave the sides open so the air gets out. What happens if I bend the corners and the air doesnt get out as easy.

I cant install stock shrouds or run puller style slim fans. So Give me something here, throw me some ideas.

Blanket the turbo, blanket the manifold. This reduces under hood temps a lot.

Heat shield as much as possible.

Are you running an external oil cooler?
