Just as the topic states.

Im looking for a good weld in cage 10pt 90-94 dsm. 1.75" DOM steel.

Anyone know anywhere? Found lots of places that have 6 pt bars and 8 pt cages, but im looking for a 10pt, I can only find them for 2 g's. The track is giving me a hard time for no safety equipment, they keep pulling my tech card.

Thanks.

I COULD buy a cage from S&W pay $500, plus $200+ shipping (Im In Canada), so about 900 after duty and exchange, and than I need to fit it, and perhaps mig it myself. Not a bad option.

I asked around, and the mac tools guy knows a guy that does chassis work, says he does great work, just a one man team. So im going to go see him tommorow, hes about 5min away and quoted me $1500 for 1 5/8 dom mild steel cage, and $2100 for 1 5/8 moly. I even got him to tig the steel cage for the same price. I will check out his work tmrw when he takes a look at the car, from what I hear its top notch.

For the bit of savings its not worth it to try and do it myself, afterall time is money.

I will post up pics.

That would be 1-3/4 on the mild steel cage.
Most of the price difference between the two is the difference in cost of material.
If you can afford chrome-moly, go for it. A moly cage will weight almost half as much as a comparable mild steel cage.
