Well, after splitting up with my wife, getting her moved out and getting things set back up to where i've got some work rolling in and the bills covered I've got to get back to playing with fabbing up a few things that are more car oriented (been doing fences, fireplaces and all kinds of oddball metal work and painting lately)
I've got 3 new products for eclipses ready to be produced in quantity and sold and hopefully will have them out soon. Myu favorite of which is the 2g FWD low mount battery holder... It's an awesome looking pice to say the least and it eliminates having the battery jumping all over the place and possibly getting holes poked in it from just sitting on the tranny, The others are just simple things from a rear camber plate (billet flat plate to look better than washers, made in 2 sizes or custom order thickness) and a complete set of shifter bushing and modification parts
these 3 have been my little pride-n-joy-pieces lately
These pics are of some control arms from one of my employee's honda prelude. He dropped the car with a set of coil overs and was wearing tires out rather fast. The stock prelude control arms (uppers) are actually slotted to allow some camber adjustment and he had the idea of having me add some material to the arm so we could further open these slots to allow enough adjustment to correct the horrible camber issues he was having on the front of the car.
Here's some progress pics, there's one or 2 that shows the OEM hole size while on the rest you can see how far I opened them up after adding a 1/2'' oto the arms with some cut up angle steel to mimic the OEM stamped arm to keep the parts rigid enough to trust on a slammed DD car. The guy in the white t-shirt is the owner of the car and an employee of mine that comes up from missouri to work summers for me ( in the pic i was trying to teach him how to control a carbide bur so you don't rip all the teeth off of it)
I wish our DSM's were this simple in the front, but i have been setting up a jig for turning the some eccentric bushings with the correct offset to fix alignment in an eclipse that's dropped around 2 - 2 1/2'', but that will be a future post
What, just because it's honda parts no one will even look ???
