newbie: WTF is wrong with my car

so i bought a 97 gst with a 6bolt swap in it the master cylinder was shot so i had to get it replaced now today i went to pick it up its leaking oil really bad and smoking like a chimney so the oil is leaking out the back of the engine somewhere and second problem is when i go to down shit or slow down for a stop it stalls out, but not all the time and sometimes sitting at a light the rpms drop and feels like its about to fall on its face but it doesnt. so my question is 1 where is the typical oil leak coming from and why does it stall, my guess is the throttle body needs cleaned any ideas? i havent got to get in the engine bay ### the thing is so damn hot just looking for opinions while i wait for it to cool down

Is your blow off valve recirculated? Sounds to me like it isn't.

yeah its recirculated but its not clamped on the its just shoved into a hose because the kid had a vta bov on it and i told him i didnt want it so he put and evo bov on it but its hooked up with hoses ill clamp it and see if that works but i dont want to drive it until i find this leak

ok so i clamped it down but its still doing it what the hell else could it be because it is acting like its vta i dont get it and from what i can see no hoses popped off but i will look again and maybe find a jack to get under it

ok so just clamped everything down nice and tight and took it out for a little test drive...i didnt let it warm up just took it out it didnt stall at all when slowing down so i got on it a couple times and as i pulled into my apartment it sounded like it was missing? then stalled wouldnt start a few time then finally did and pulled it the rest of the way in...im completely stumped on wtf it is

## oil leak problem could be ## rear main seal or valve cover gasket.
