Need a 23 spline t case ASAP!

The transmission went bad in my gsx and the new transmission i got is out of a 91 and has the 23 spline instead of the 90 22... so i need a 23 as soon as possible so i can swap out the trannys! let me know if anyone has anything

You can just swap the output shafts, instead of buying another t-case. Also I am interested in buying 23 splines output shaft in a good shape if you decide to do so.

How hard would that be to do? and wouldnt i have to get a 23 spline t case to do that

Not hard to do at all.

Open up the top covers on both trans, you will see the viscous coupler which is the big round thing being held on with a big C clip. Pop out the VC and there you will see 2 holes on each side of the splines, there's 2 ball bearings, take those off and don't loose it. Tilt the transmission on its side and you can just push out the out put shaft and switch them. Reverse the steps and use a thin layer on silicone when putting the cover back. Your 23 spline will now be a 22 and you can reuse the same transfer case you have now.
