1G Do I have an EPROM ECU?

sorry....^the title is bad^...but i need info.
1993 eagle talon tsi awd, do i have an eprom ecu?
if i do what code is it. I want to get a chip from www.dsmchips.com,
but dont know what code to put in or if i even have an eprom.

can anyone tell me if i do or how to find out, and maybe what code it is these are the possible choices listed
- E742
- E931
- EA01
- E943 GVR-4 (although i doubt it since the gvr-4 obviosly implies a gvr-4 car)

You can find out if you have an eprom and if so, which code it is by opening up your ecu and looking at it. The eprom is located on the bottom right corner of the ecu, if you hold it with the wiring harness at the top. TMO's website has some instructions on how to get to your ecu.

If you have an eprom ecu, there will be a 28 pin chip in the corner that will have one of those eprom numbers on it.

- E742 is a 1990 turbo
- E931 is a 1991 or 1992 I think
- EA01 is a 1994 turbo

If you have an EPROM, then it will be E931.
