Im having a little problem with choosing a boost controller.....The blitz or the Standard greddy...i heard that the greddy is a hell of a lot easier to use but the blitz gives a quicker response.....just wanted some more input, some advice from the pro's since im just starting the new GST project!...thanks :confused

i think just a regular manual boost controller works just fine.. i made one myself for like $8... but if you want adjustability then i guess the electronic ones are what you want. but seriously why would you need quicker response? are you shanging the boost on the run?

I have had a MBC for 2 years. Now I'm going to switch to a EBC to see how that works. I personally am getting the Blitz SBC-ID

The biggest reason I go with an electronic is that I can make mods in the garage and adjust my boost (if it changed) while I'm making my test run to keep my comparisons as even as possible. For instance. One point on my Profec-B with the MAS unhacked will give me 12psi. If I fully hack the MAS and leave the Profec, all of a sudden I'm reading 20psi. So I back off the boost controller while driving and then push it at the same psi levels to compare before and after. Also, it is very nice to have a switch to go to my higher race setting anytime I want it but drive at much less without the hassle of trying to count clicks or anything else.

now .....what is the difference between the greddy standard ant the greddy profec-b.....? besides price? fine tuning adjustments?

i would like to be able to turn the boost up if a shitvic tries to run me ya know....but just city driving ...id like to keep the #@%#@%#@%#@% low to cruise!

You want the profec-B the Profec-A is very hard to tune and not worth the money.

-If going with GReddy, get the PRofec-B, best bank/$, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "slow", there's a balance knob on the PRofec-B for you to fine tune your boost, I especialy like the steering wheel mounted remote control.
