it was suppose to be a good day. I hooked up my MBC. i have a turbo XS. Well the car was backfiring a lot. So i lowered the boost down to stock, about 7 pounds. Still back fireing. Now its getting even worse. I pull off he highway because i notice smoke coming out the back of my car. Looked somewhat blue, but i just put the turbo on. It also looked more white than blue. I would guess the smoke was white. I stop the car, open my hood and oil is burning from around the cylinder head. Smoke is coming from behind the intake manifold and below the turbo. I look under the car, there is all ready a spot of oil about 1 foot around. I shut the car off quickly. Now i am looking around and notice a header bolt missing. Girard mitsubishi just put my new turbo on because i never had enough time to do it alone. And i wanted to make sure if something happened its under warrenty. i dont know how many i am missing but i know of 2 now. Anyone got any idea's what could be wrong and why i am leaking so much oil? head gasket maybe.....probably

Who built your engine and was it tuned and running fine before the mbc?

Try to get a little more specific from where you see oil around the head.

There could be multiple thing's wrong. Smoke out the tail pipe means

valve guide seal's leaking oil in the cylinder, ring's could be done but if you have a built motor i wouldn't think so.

how's your engine temp, does the car overheat? It sound's like there's oil burning somewere.

Maybe your 14b is shot and the dealer didn't know it.

Is there massive amount's of smoke?

My engine is stock, i have a 3" exhaust and 2.5" downpipe. Hacked intake and thats it. It backfires on stock boost before the boost controller. My engine is not built. The smoke out the exhaust is white and black. The trubo is in good condition and i got it from a friend who had it on his running car. The turbo is ok. I'm thinking its a head gasket. It could also be a return line to the turbo and its not connected anymore. I'll have to start tearing it apart and find out. Also the car is not overheating and everything runs normal. My oil is down because its draining out, i just changed the oil when i put the turbo on, almost 800 miles ago.

your head gasket wouldn't be blowing oil out of it, if anything it would be spewing coolant.

Maybe your hacked mas is ####ed.

I did think that the oil feed line might be loose, but that shouldn't cause your car to backfire.

Check for boost leak's.

Which exhaust manifold bolt is missing? Is it the one in the middle? cuz that one blocks off an oil return passage in the head. If that bolt is gone oil will leak out, burn on the manifold and run onto the ground.
