Hey, does anyone know anything about where I could get and oil filter relocater. My 3in exhaust is so close to my filter that i have to take off the whole O2 housing eliminator just to change my oil. Any help welcome.

Buschur sells an oil filter housing that points the filter towards the front of the car. No internal cooler thoughOMG

This may be an option that will work for you:

While you are at it maybe you should replace your stock Air/Oil cooler with a better one if you did not already do it.

Good Info - but those kits involve far more hoses, adapters & gaskets & therefore FAR more potential leaks & catastrophic failures than the NT Oil Filter Housing.

why would it leak? i have no leaks and my filter is in a much cooler location.

JDM - I think that's definitely a cool idea & definitely functional - I changed my Oil Filter yesterday & if I could get my hands on the Engineer who put that Filter there I'd make HIM clean up the oil running down the chassis brace! - But where is your Air to Oil Cooler or does it work so darn good you don't need one? - (& I'm not kidding that may well be true). That duct is where I (& a lot of guys) chose to put the Air to Oil Cooler.

I think the Hot Setup for you big Downpipe guys might be the NT Oil Filter Housing & then the aftermarket Hose adapter for the Air to Oil Cooler using the 91 & later Turbo Oil Filter Housing Bolt to hold on the adapter - being the NT Housing lacks Oil Cooler ports.

As far as my previous post it's fairly self explanatory - The MORE joints you have the more POTENTIAL leaks sites you have (= Buck's Law of Leaks)... If you indeed did away with the Air to Oil Cooler (& I think you probably could with your Oil Filter setup) THEN you eliminated joints & therefore eliminated POTENTIAL leak sites - consistent with Buck's Law...

JDM!!!!!!! Your freaking Mod list is a 1/4 mile long...
- You've got a Thousand dollar Turbo - You're doing Dynos & sh...

- All that & YOU STILL HAVE YOUR DAMN WATER COOLER!!!!!!

I am TOTALLY shocked - WTF are you waiting on? Take that POS off - you don't need the damn thing with your Oil Filter there anyway - Good God man!

Well thinking about it - I take it YOUR Water Cooler isn't seeing Oil Filters on & off - It's in a static joint & not being screwed with below the relocator adapter right? - That's certainly the Hot Setup if you are going to stay with the water cooler.

BTW Mitsu Oil Filters with their "T" gasket cross section & hand tightened are the ONLY way to go for those who are using those water cooler in the stock configuration. An Oil Filter with a flat gasket will SCREW YOU QUICK & GOOD on those Water Coolers.

If a relocation kit is used the oil filter adapter will stay there for a while so Water/Oil cooler failures will be less likely to occur. Like I said the Water/Oil cooler may be removed to take some strain off the engine cooling system and have the Air/Oil cooler work at his full capability if it's not doing it yet.

You will end up doing what I did : use the 119, want more and get a bigger one. For me it was not money thrown out the window because the 119 will go on my wife's car. Where is yours going to go.
Seriously, the difference in price between the 119 and any other 6xx series is negligible so why not get the biggest you can fit in there?
About fitting sizes I believe that 3/8 is too small. I recommend using the 1/2 ones and -10 AN lines.
