This DSM has two ssqv's... WHY?

one for low boost and one for high, so you dont flutter. thats what mike w and roy at road race do on there cars. the low boost one is usually recirculated though.

probably not why this guy did it but its still a good idea.

This particular car is also running a custom manifold and T-60 turbocharger with Electromotive. I saw a few pics of that car before, it has 300ZX lights on the front. It's a full show car, but apparently it's a fully built motor making some crazy HP. Also note the custom CF intake manfiold.

you sure its not that car? it is chamelon, 300zx headlights, ferrarri tails...but it says hes only running an 18g..and there are no engine shots. But the paint still looks the same as what the guy posted.... i love this car though.

That car doesn't even look like an Eclipse! It's still pretty sweet......but automatic:thumbdown

That exhaust manifold collector looks pretty hideous from what I can see.

n reason to run two. My greddy type R lets out more than enough and holds enough boost.

building boost at a stop light while holding your cup of coffee and cigarette never sounded bad to me. *shrugs*
 
I took pics of the engine bay and of that car in june while at universal studios florida. It was a show car at a 2 fast 2 furious exhibit, LOL figures. Ill post the pics a few days after x mas. the guys standing next to the car told me it was his brothers and it was full show only. He said it dynod crazy numbers in the 500-600 range, lookin up close at the exhaust manifold I thought he was all talk, it looked like it was fabricated by someone who knew nothing of gas flow. Well hopefully my pics will be shine some more light on the topic when I post them. Till then, keep pondering.
 
The manifold looks like it moves the turbo over so the crossmember doesnt get in the way of the compressor outlet. Its hard to say by looking at a picture how well the manifold flows. Perhaps it actually flows quite well. Show cars arent my thing, but every once in awhile they do something that actually makes sense. You never know.
 
hes local to here, the car is basically all show

i believe he currently has a mitsu T-88 turbo on the car with an automatic tranny and not enough supporting mods

its just a show car, big turbos are nice to look at
