What is the best blow off valve?

If you recirculate the BOV, use a stock 1G ( which you already have ). If you vent to the atmosphere, use an HKS SSBOV. Those are your only two choices. Don't look at any other ones ( if you say, wait a minute? What about Tial? Then you are smarter than you look :thumb: ).

:dsm: :laser: :talon:

Tial, SSBOV or 1G stock. :shhh:

My old skool SARD will not leak. Bad ass piece. The valve seat is actually the weld on flange, so there is no gasket/bolts/band clamp, etc to leak. Genious. The Tial is badass too. I've never seen one leak in a pressure test.

Do you know where I can get a Tial BOV for cheap?

Going by your mod list, I wouldn't worry about that yet.

tial is best if you dont have a stock mass air, if not and your only running a 16g or smaller keep your stock one. if you have bigger then a 16g or your unning over 18 psi on it then get a greddy type s

The TIAL, or if you can find one the SARD are both amazing units...I am currently running the BLITZ DD with the optional hard spring and it doesnt leak all the way up to 23psi...

If you are going for sound more than anything the HKS Super Sequential or the Turbo XS RFL BOV are a good way to go...

well someone explain to me this... i have a 90awd with no mods other thena removed air box. i put my tial from my 92 on it yesterday and its blowin off 11psi without causing any hesitation or stalling. Is is possible if u dont hack the maf that no problems occur. O and yea it did mess up the 92 with a hacked maf!!

Don't go wiuth tial if you have no mods. Do not vent unless you are setup to do so. There are many people on this board who are venting and are not setup to do so, and all i have to say is DUMBASS. Keep the stocker or go with a greddy type s or a blitz with the recirculation adapter. The type s is damn loud too when you recirculate.

yes what ever you do, do not vent your bov if your not setup too, your car will run like crap and im sure many people say there car runs fine but the truth is it realy does. i would say tial all the way if your setup for it such as gm maft, stand alone ect, no afc. other wise get the hks ssq and get the recirculation kit

But I heard the HKS SSQ isnt a really good BOV?

I have a greddy type S, works alot better than my chushed 1g POS did, 1g valves are fine till you go over 18psi, then you need the real deal (hks, greddy..etc etc)

they are all good, but try and get one that recirculates, unless your a ricer and dont mind nasty oil, fouled plugs and giant blasts of turd gas when you shift..
