Ok I have some time off coming up but I still need to get a couple things before I put everything on. I have a fp big 28 ported to match my ported evo 3 manifold. RnR o2 eliminator dp with no cat and I still need a catback. I have a dejon intake and a 255 fuel pump with 550's on the way. Im getting dsmlink soon. Ok but the intercooler is my main consern right now. I was planning on using the ADFX big sidemount but I cant find 2.5 inch piping to match it, the reason being it wont clear the fuse box. So I have a couple options- get the adfx sidemount and buy intercooler piping from dejon and have them flare it out at the end so it will fit. I would still consider getting a small front mount but I really dont know if I would need it. What are your guys thoughts?

Hey man to anser your questions. Get the adfx intercooler, their stuff is really good and cools exceptionally well. Im sure you can call them up and tell them what you need and they will do it for you. Im getting my adfx frontmount put on friday. if you have any questions pm me or aim me at klos2002

Would I be looking at any downsides to getting the ic piping flared out to fit the intercooler?

The only downside would be the extra turbulence from the drastic piping diameter changes. But it wouldn't hurt anything that much. Give www.dejontool.com a call, I'm sure they can do a custom order for you. Good luck! :thumb:

actually turbulance is a good thing. The flare however does create a loss do to the directional changes in the air (linear momentom) but it shouldn't matter at all.

I have a side question- I will only need a 190 fuel pump with my setup correct? I plan on getting injectors and dsm link in a couple months.

the 190lph pump should be fine. I know StockSpyder made 426 whp with one... in regards to the piping... just get a reducing connector between the IC pipe and the IC itself.

Sigh, its not a matter of needing it, like a IC is fuel injectors....a bigger IC add's more power.

So are you saying I might want to look into a bigger intercooler? I mean its only a t28 that I will be using. Would a front mount be an overkill?

Smaller turbos blow hotter air at a given PSI neways. Its always nice and helpful to have a FMIC if its in the budget.

What would be a good front mount for that small of a turbo? I can get a good price on a greddy but Ive heard that they arnt that effective past 15 psi. Im open to idea because I have a decent size budget. Thanks in advance.

I like the www.rnrracing.com 2g street and race kits. i have installed them and they have an awesome fit, look fantastic and use spearco cores....I believe they might even be on sale right now. The wait is ussually a bit longer for a custom product like that, 1-4 weeks....but its worth it. The piping, IC and everything put a greddy kit to shame.

Not a bad looking kit, the street core I mean. And priced at $930 that isnt bad at all. So do you get to choose the BOV flange when you order? It doesnt say or give you an option.
