Best Recirc BOV??

Alright, I understand there is already TOO MANY threads on BOV questions, problems, recirc/vent, etc. But it's time for me to add a BOV and I've already decided (after much insistence) that I wil be avoiding venting BoV. So I know that this will sacrifice some sound. My question for all of you who do have recirc valves.. What is the best Recirculating bov to buy? What seems to be the loudest or performs the best? So if you could help out with your input and explain why that would be SPLENDID.

I'm more concerned with sound as opposed to how it looks when you pop the hood. SO i gues let's move the question to what everyone thinks the LOUDEST recirculating BOV is??

The Greddy has it's good points and bad points... The Good point is that is adjustable and it has a great sound to it. The bad thing is, it's design is rather piss poor with the rubber mesh membrane. The reason the membrane fails is because the BOV has a tendency to flutter at low rpm/boost. The violent flutter causes that membrane to wear out. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with the TurboXS H-34.

well i'll probably get burned on this BUT...Me and a few people i know with dsm's have never had a prob venting the HKS SSQV, but even if your car don't run right after venting they make a recir kit for the hks and I would think it would be plenty loud. hks>greddy

P.S. I'm not trying to make this into another pro/con venting thread!

I agree ... vent the hks and if you have problems buy the recirc kit. I am one of the few people to not have any problems venting, and I actually ran better track times on average venting. ( I too am now recirculating though with my new setup ) HKS all the way.

You want the loudest recirculated BOV , Greddy Type-S is the one your looking for. The HKS vented sounds the best, but once recirculated it sounds like A**. Go with the Type-S, I have it and yes I vent, but I have no problems.
