Bought Palm Logging software and cable info on how to use it?

Where can I find info on how to use my new palm logging software? I purchased to to be able to diagnose problems with my car since I seem to have frequent problems. I got it from here http://pocketlogger.com/index.php?pid=obdii

I ordered the cable to go wtih my clie SJ20 and everything. I just don't understand anything about it being noob. I need to learn what I can about this car because there are no mechanics that seem to listen! If anyone can point me to a VFAQ or something I would appreciate it.
