Just thought you guys should know about the new EPROM chips now available at www.keydiverchips.com aka www.dsmchips.com
These are the real thing. He's taken over where TMO left off, and at a much better price. But these chips aren't a copy of TMO's chips, they're based on his own code. That's why he is able to offer features that TMO never did, such as hacked MAF compensation, big injector compensation, injector deadtime compensation. Yup, that's right, you can run a hacked MAF with 550 injectors ( or whatever you have) and set the SAFC to all zeros! The real benefit is for those of you who have really big injectors, you won't have to struggle with too high timing because of the reduced airflow counts.
Naturally there are 3 stages of EPROM mods giving the usual mods like fuel cut removal, raised redline, stutterbox, no lift to shift, convert the stock boost gage into something useful like a knock sum meter or timing advance gage, A/C cutoff at WOT, high cruise, octane reset, and for the '90 owners you can get the wider range of fuel trim adjustment from the '91 to '94 cars added to your ECU code.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something, so check out the links and click on the options so you can see for yourself.
I got my chip installed a week ago and I can't beleive how great everything works! Daily driving with a hacked MAF is so nice now. The high cruise option lets me get decent gas mileage at high freeway speeds. The stutterbox is awesome! Come up to the line, put it in gear, floor the throttle and the engine holds steady at 5500 rpm and builds 10 psi of boost almost right away! It's so easy to launch. I also found out that the no lift to shift will also hold boost at 12 psi on my setup, so I can grannyshift 2>3 and get back into the power immediately! Yay! who cares about turbo lag between shifts anymore?
I can't wait until the track opens up next season and see how low my personal best goes. $hit this good almost makes me wanna street race. almost.
For more info there is a nice thread going at www.DSMTalk.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=109015
