well my entire engine is out of the car now and about to do the 6 bolt swap, now i have a non-turbo 6 bolt block and going to be putting my stock T25 on it, now i was noticing that on my 2g block theres some kind bolt with a tube leading to the turbo, im preety sure this is a water line, but maybe im wrong, now the 6 bolt non turbo block doesnt have anywhere for me to attach this tube on the block, is there some other place i have to atach it to? I can probably get some pics tomarrow, thanks again :thumb:

There has to be several good SWAP Threads somewhere... A Turbo Thermostat Housing & Water pump Coolant pipe from the junkyard would come in REAL handy about now... You may be able to tap the N/T Thermo Housing & then somehow braze a nipple on the big coolant pipe - I doubt the N/T pipe or housing has the bosses. Someone who has done this swap is sure to fill you in - Good Luck.

well heres what im talking about, im preety sure this is a water line, as you can all see it goes from the turbo and to the block itself, now the non turbo 6 bolt block doesnt have a place for me to put this on... does anyone know where im supposed to put it? hope someone can help, thanks :thumb:

The one from the bottom with the flare fitting threads into the big pipe from the Water Pump that runs across the face of the block - the line with the hose goes to the Thermo Housing - I was trying to convey that the N/T probably has neither connection point - You either need a junkyard or a good workaround someone has developed.

for my conversion I used a turbo thermostat housing for the coolant feed as in a stock setup. For the return, I ran a hose and tapped into the TB coolent lines and dump the coolent from the turbo into the return from the throttle body. Works great!
