hey guys whats up?
i got this itch of venting my BOV but i dont want to spend 400 bucks on all the electronics so i was thinking what if i move my 2g MAF in the upper intercooler pipe where you would put the GM MAF?
and has anyone done this?

i know there will be no hp gains in doing this and it may sound stupid but i just dont have the money to buy the MAF translator or a GM maf sensor (im broke after my 6bolt swap:cry) but i just want to hear my BOV. :

no it won't work Look at this page or the next page and you will see wher I replied to a post asking the same thing. I replied there on how the 2g mas reads air and why it won't work. Just save up the money and be done with it. You can even get some good package deals right now. hollywoodperformanceusa.com has a great deal right now. It comes with the gm mas the translator, a gm mas intake pipe(vpc style), a k&n filter for the pipe, and dejon tool blowthrough uicp for 599$ and you get free shipping. Ask tom sawyer(user name) on this board about it becuase he seems to have something to do with them.

im sorry this is the third thread i read about that and it sounds just dumb. get your self a gm mas from ebay for 50 bucks like me and a translater new for150 or used for like 100. the gm blow thru set up helps anyways with tuning, venting and spool up time. do go short just go all the way

$199 for the maft.

I got my maf for $50 used. Made my intake for free and stuck it in the uicp for the cost of 2 reducers.

$600??!? HAHA that is WAY overpriced!
