ok ive seen so many turbo dsms running a gm maf, what is the purpose of this and would it work n a n/a

It allows you to vent to atmosphere, clears up a lot of engine bay room, and a lot of the time if you pop a boost leak you can still drive home as it is usually before the maf. its suppose to be better for tuning and provide a better airflow reading but i dont think its anything youd notice unless you were having problems with the stock maf. You can do it on an n/a but you need a translator or link. Not really worth it.

ok not really interested in it for performance just a after market intake my dinasour built robber tube is dry rotted

To run a gm maf you either need a translator ($200), or dsmlink and gm maf cable ($650).

If I were you, I would buy a couple cheap pieces of inter cooler piping, and couplers, and make an intake for the stock maf.

that I will be doing cause I have no need for all that money in my daily stock driver
