Honed not bored block with new piston rings and bearings (6 months old)
ported head with oversized valves
small 16G set to 20psi
stock injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump

2G ported manifold

mls gasket
stock side mount

Im getting blowby (dipstick comes up under high boost), and prior to all that, my compression is 130 125 85 130. I thought maybe leaky valves since the compression didnt go up after doing that oil trick test.
Also recently, a bit of fuel cut.
I was under the assumption due to my low compression, this wouldnt happen even with the stock injectors (no $ right now for 550's)
er so, am I running the risk of blowing the motor? It feels like im running rich most of the time though. thanks.

That is some ugly compression numbers. The MLS head gasket might help up your compression if you are leaking from the one you have now. Other then that, you have the block rebuilt, I would suggest you get the head rebuilt as well. New seals will up the compression.

20 psi for a 16G on stock injectors sounds really really high.

16G.

Not 14B.

run a leakdown test and find out where that compression is going. Will save alot of time over putting on a new headgasket.

I don't understand what you were trying to say!

Yes the 14B is a stock turbo for the 1G's and the 2G have a T25 stock. the 16G is an upgrade turbo that doesn't come stock on any DSM. The point that "cait sith" was making is that your buddy's car has a 14B that handled 20psi OK, which is not unusual. But with a 16G, 20psi is dangerous because your fuel system hasn't been upgraded properly and you run the risk of running lean and damaging your engine. So to answer your original post...Yes.

*To clarify:
-20PSI on a 16G > 20PSI on a 14B (I believe this is where the misunderstanding was.)
~20PSI on a 16G is way more air, so you'll need more fuel to compensate.

On topic:
-How is your timing? I was getting blow-by when my timing was advanced.

*Oh yeah: stop being cheap, and get some injectors! Better safe than sorry. (It's going to end up costing you way more not getting them if you blow something up!!!)

Thanx,
