Came across a killer deal today. The guy I bought my car from has a junkyard in another county, and I asked him about a few misc. parts I needed. He sold me a whole car (93 Talon TSI AWD 5-speed, over 100 thousand miles, burning some oil) for 1,000. Car starts up and runs fine, puffs a little smoke, not as much as I expected for such a good price. On to the point, I want to take the factory turbo out and mod it to go into my car. I know a bigger turbo will provide better horse, but I kinda like the idea of modding a stock one. What do you suggest? Trim the fins, change compressor wheel,(if you even can). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sooner or later I am going to fix it up for the old lady, she just loves driving mine. But untill then I have a whole other car for parts. The only thing that doesnt match is the exterior color.
