turbo upgrade, what do i need?

well im planning on upgrading the turbo soon, and want to no what i should REALLY get BEFORE i get the turbo. I figure all I really need is a good BOV, FMIC and pipping, Exhaust manifold, Exhaust and downpipe. Is there anything else thats preety necessary for a turbo upgrade, ohh and i have a boost gauge to. thanks
