I have 96 Talon TSI (FWD) and i got the horrible news that i have crankwalk and the car is not runable. So now its sitting in my garage and i'm taking it apart right now but not sure what motor to put in. I already have full 7 bolt motor from a 1g eclipse that was a turbo model and that one needs to rebuilt or should i find a 6 bolt motor and rebuilt that or just buy the magnus motor sports block. Because either way i want to use my top end. But i dont kno how good the 1g 7 bolts are. I hear they dont have as much problems with crankwalk but there is a possibility. But how much of a possibility is it and what needs to be fabricated to fit it in. Is their a web site that has this swap or has anyone done it before. I have been searching and cant find 7 bolt to 7bolt just 6 bolts to 7 bolts. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you choose to install the 1G 7 bolt motor then the only thing you would have to do differently is reuse your flywheel. Everything else you would follow a typical 6 bolt in a 2G installation. Also the 1G 7 bolts have walked before...
