Hi guys,
I'm trying to install A/F gauge, but page on finding sensor wire is missing on VFAQ...
There are 4 wires going from 02 sensor (2 whites, black and grey)
(I assume it's o2 sensor, since they are going from o2 housing)

Which is the one to tap ?
I don't seem to get any reading from any of them...
One of the whites makes gauge go all the way to reach end and sit there, so I don't hink that's it. All others don't give any readings at all...
Heap please....

do not tap it directy at the o2 sensor. you can tap the open o2 wire under the passenger side kick panel or at the ecu. you can find directions at www.vfaq.com

Under the passenger side kick panel there is a bundle of wires. You have to reach up there pretty far for a single wire with a clear connector. its the only open wire in that location.

i don't remember the color its the only free wire up there that is not connected to a wiring harness and it has a clear female connector

ok, I've just removed kick pannel, and here's what I see:
multiwire connectiors and one black wire with WHITE female connector.
that's not connected with anything.

it's a hard plastic connector.

Is this what I'm looking for ?

LOL i got one the other night, a saleen with a blower. i put 4-5 cars on him:laugh:

did you give the o2 sensor time to warm up? is the gauge lit or does it have no power?

Still not sure.
For some reason it didn't respond on idle (I left it running for 30min)
Then when I took it for a spin, it came alive and responded to idle ever since....

Weird huh ?
