hey guys im starting my 6 bolt build up and need a little help. im trying to find out what i need to get to have everthing done. here is a list of what i know i should get and need

6 bolt block (found a block with 1g rods, 95 pistons)
it has the crank

magnus motor sports install kit

1g head

cams and gears

all the belts

a full gasket kit

valve cover

intake manifold

is there anything else i should get to finsish my swap thanks

o also i talked to ams ( a dsm shop) and they quoted me about 5300, for a jdm motor stock block, mls hg, arp studs, my cams put in and gears, 2600 clutch in, new belts and water pump, and everthing else u need that magnus sells for a install kit. is this too much

Modifiers Mag just published a list of what you need to do a 1g to 2g swap. $5300 is a lot of money just to put a motor in. Maybe spend that money on a built motor and do the install yourself?

what is the, magnus motor sports install kit??

and honestly, I would give the install at least a whole weekend. Not that it cant be done overnight. but you want to do it nicely, like routing the wiring, cleaning the engine bay etc. have a nice and clean motor again. rushing is only going to lead to mistakes and forgetting things.

I would give a whole day extra just to check the problems and make sure everything is working right and in place.

well 5300 is for the motor and the install, for that much im getting a jdm block, 1g head with my hks cams put in, mls hg, arp head studs, 1g intake manifold, act 2600 put in, the timing belt and all that good stuf changed, no is that alot, plus i would love to put the motor in my self but honestly i dont think i could do it
