Fuel Pressure Regualtor good to what PSI??

There is no way to adjust the stocker, you can easily overrun it by rewiring an aftermarket fuel pump. Just get a AFPR, look in the vendor announcements forum on here. There is an ad for one.

the stock FPR on a 1G is 37psi, im not sure on a 2g, if it is the same, run a 90 colt 1.5L 200gt, it is good up to 44psi. Also why dont u check vfaq.com or search the forums, alot of info here.

There are disadvantages to the B&M unit. One is that it only allows for an increase in fuel pressure, which may not be what a turbo engine running its injectors to the max is looking for. Does raising it to 50psi help at all in terms of power or driveability? ( for Wobble )
I would recommend an AFPR that is capable of both increasing and decreasing the fuel pressure such as a Buschur or Charged Air unit. Something like an AEM or Venom fuel rail would complete the setup. :thumb:

I don't know if this is what Wobble is doing, but I bet it is. Changing the fuel pressure is the same as changing fuel injectors. For example I have a 1g, the stock fuel pressure is 36psi. I'm running 63psi of pressure with a B&M unit. Using the formula;
square root of ( new fuel pressure / old fuel pressure ) * injector flow rate at 43 psi = new injector size
sqrt(63/36) * 450cc = new injector size
1.3228 * 450 = 595cc
Once you know your new size, you can use an SAFC or MAFT to correct for this new injector size. I get the same effect as running 595cc injectors( if their is such a thing ) with this method, even though I'm still on my stock injectors.

you will still max out your injectors, i run 550s with that much pressure just because i never wanna run out of fuel (LOL)

and why would you ever want to DECREASE fuel pressure? if you want less fuel set the AFC that way.. if you lower the pressure too much you risk getting lower pressure in #1 casusing a lean condition becuase the fuel pressure can get low for a sec or 2 when the injectors open up and suck more fuel from the rail than is being supplied...

I know, its already happened. I can't raise it anymore, I'm in desparate need of injectors. I'm alittle lean, if I add any more fuel with the MAFT I get fuel cut. With the settings I'm at now, I get fuel cut on cold mornings. This was just a temp solution that has run out. I added a new upper intercooler pipe and that brought me to the edge. I had a downpipe sitting around for about 3 months, I made the mistake of getting it installed. I know I didn't have enough fuel, I thought I would just lower my boost until I could get injectors, this will hopefully happen in 3 weeks. But when I lowered the boost I found I have boost creep even though when I got my 16g I got the 34mm flapper mod. I was running 17psi before this, my boost now creeps to 17psi so lowering the boost did nothing. Before this I was running 60psi, I bumped it up to 63psi, which was the max it would go, this seems to have given enough untill I get my injectors, if I'm careful.
