i know this question to some may sound dumb, but here it is anyways...
may timing belt broke and i need new valves. well, i was thinking since im goin to have the head off, i want to rebuild it. im not sure what valves i want to go w/, but the spings i want the HKS vavle spring set. i dont have money for the HKS cams yet, so i will be using the stock cams. will everything be fine w/ the stock cams until i get the HKS cams?
oh yea, any ideas what valves i should get too and where i get it?

thanks,
john

I'm pretty sure the valve springs will be fine with stock cams, but don't quote me.

You could always buy Stainless Steel swirl valves, but that'll cost you around 320 for all 16. I would not reccomend oversize valves unless you know what you're doing.

Just run stock valves, which the machine shop you bring your head to will easily be able to order.

SBR's got some SS swirl valves for 200$. Set of 16. I would replace the seals while your at it. I have heard of a couple of people running 7K+ rpms on stock springs, buts its your motor, not mine. :)
