As many people on here know I sold my mutt and bought a AGP L2R Dual-Ball-Bearing GT Turbo. It has a T04B Compressore housing with a Garret GT 54lb per min Compressor wheel and a Ported Mitsu Housing with a Garret GT30 Turbine Wheel.

Support is local for me. Ben and Kevin are great. Hell I got my turbo delivered to me and he even brought me a new turbo to manifold bolt after I stripped one . A special thanks goes out to Rob(Black95GSX) for driving up from Tuscon to help me out. Thanks Man!!!!

Install was easy it uses all the stock water lines (which I had to revert back to) and it gets the oil feed from the block(less pressure) and comes with a K&N Billet filter so the BB center cartridge doesn't get any foriegn materials in it.

After the turbo was installed I fired it up and no leaks so we go for a test drive. First run in second gear turbo spools so quickly then I hit 15 psi(just for right now) I shift to third and the IC pipe connected to the turbo blows off OMG. Pull over. Fix it. Get on the road. 2 more runs car is pulling so crazy, then the IC pipe blows off again:mad:.Guess it's time for a T-bolt clamp. I will post more impressions after I fix this IC pipe but so far this thing is a monster at only 15psi. I found out while fixing my IC pipe the oil drain is leaking at the connection to the pan guess I need a little more RTV

Heh, you put in your new AGP and I put in a new Green. I'm thinking I might have the same problems as you with the lower I/C piping. We'll see. I'll be checking it out in a hour or so. Just woke up LOL. I guess your not MuttedTSIAWD anymore hehe :) Good luck with your new setup ..i'm sure it will be balls to the wall.

Well except for the fact the word "Peed" would be in my username. :D

I know it sucks so bad I can't spool or tune this bad-boy until I get a T-bolt clamp or try to double clamp it.

You using silicone connectors? I should show you the clamps I'm using. You need a 14m socket to tighten these boys. ;)

Oh, make sure to clean off all the oil really good from the pipes (you probably knew that already).

JOHN

Just wanted to let you know that NAPA sells t bolt clamps for under $3.00 each.

I will be buying all t-bolt when I pick up a frontmount.

yup NAPA is where i got mine, i'm using these big guns on my buschur 2.25" UICP and they're still a tad bit too big (gotta ratchet them down a whole lot) but they do the job and are like $2.60 apiece

NAPA part number 705-1531, knock yourself out ;)

There is no oil on the pipe and I am using a good silicone coupler. Thanks for the part number and location. I will get at couple after work.

It could even be a 3inch clamp and I could tighten down more. I just need something thicker that will hold better.

Lol Very funny.
But seriously who can reccomend a better clamp.

Are you using a socket to clamp down the clamps or a screw driver? Don't use a screwdriver. Use the socket. I have spiked to 20psi and run 16psi on a 14b and never blown a pipe after I started to socket the clamps on.

It's hard to get to but I will try a socket. I'm using a screwdriver now. I ran 20psi on my mutt and never blew an IC pipe.

Damn!!! Kevin is the man  as if you all didn't know already. I'll call
I get home at 7:00pm. I'll call you. Or you can drop it off if your near my house before that.

Lucky bastards! :D

Ya plus 110 degrees for 3 months straight. :D

Just for informations sake incase someone is searching later. Constant torque clamps work just as good if not better than T-bolts. The have just as much clamping force but one calmp can cover a wider range of diameters unlike the Tbolts.
