turning up the boost on a 13b oops

hey guys

i have a 91 talon tsi auto...if i dont want to bother with the upgrade to the larger manual turbo at least not at the moment, what can i do as far as MBC with the smaller A/T turbo? how much can i turn the smaller turbo up? it is my understanding that the A/T turbo makes 9 psi im wondering what i can crank it up too...and what sort of hp gains will i make with a moderate increase in boost from the 13g, full exhaust, k&n, downpipe???

Get a 14b. Theyre cheap. like 125 used. Trust me. I have an auto as well and the little 13g isn't worth anything to anybody because of its size.

k but if i just dont want to do the work at the moment and im buyin the mbc anyway....is it possible to turn the little turbo up a bit for modest gains just for the time being??

yep. stock psi is conservative. you can probably go up to 14psi.

from what ive heard the 13b is the equivalent of the t25

The 13b is wanted by the TT 3si guys and by 1G n/t guys wanting to do a cheap turbo kit to run on their 9:1 pistons.
