I am thinking of up sizing my intermediate piping and I am wondering, is it a 2.25 inch pipe outside dimension or inside dimension?

Let's try again. I am going to make my own pipe which goes from the intercooler to the throttle body. What size do you guys reccomend? Furthermore, the size that you suggest, is it inside diameter or the outside? I have a standard transmission motor/turbo/ etc in my automatic car.

just look around on some tuner sites to see what they use, also tubing(which is what you will be using) is always measured with outside diameter, pipe on the other hand is almost always measured in inside diameter, i just learned this the other day at work, hope i am of some help
