if a six bolt swap is done what are the choices? Is it just finding a 1g at a local junkyard...or do they make new ones or who has them or what? And what do they cost...and what would install on one cost?

You can purchased a remanufactured 1G six bolt from an engine rebuilber for a pretty penny. You can buy one from a junkyard and rebuilt it with you own funds meaning you do it or have some "shop" do it. Or you can purchase a fully built one from a performance shop. Just search the vendor list and play the field. Me personally got one supplied by a supposed-to-be dsm mechanic and he installed it for $1700. After putting 22,000K miles on it since the beginning of March, I swapped in a built six bolt with the help of a regular old mechanic family member. We tackled it in a day. And what a long day it was.
