Anyone dyno a 1G and 2G 4g63T without turbo?

Just wonder what kinda power it puts out at different rpms and wondering how much more hp the 2G has with the high compression pistions.

I do not believe that people do tests like that and for a good reason, they would be pretty much pointless… Are you trying to figure out how much extra power can be attributed to a higher compression in 2G engines?

There are other things that are different about 2G engines (intake/TB/head), all those would make the two engines feel very different. But the most important thing about power/torque curves, is the turbo selection. That is why I think that this test would not be of much use.

My butt dyno says that a 2G GS-T auto with the turbine wheel snapped off in the T25 turbo is MUCH slower than the girlfriend's '94 Mirage 1.5L Auto.

I just thought it would be fun to figure out just how little power the engine has without a turbo :D

Also just wanted to compare how it's nonboosted charts compare to the boost chart curves.
