Testing to see if GM MAF is good

Was curious if anyone had any link or info on voltage testing the GM MAF to see if it needs replacement. Like testing for resistence between the pins where you plug it into the translator. I would imagine i could do something like that. But i wouldnt know what numbers to expect.
 
If I remember correctly, Mike Licht (the builder of the maf translator) stated on the DSM Translator yahoo group that there is no way to test to see if it is functional, aside from plugging it in and trying to run it.
