i am wondering if it is possible to change an auto to a stick? i have herd of ppl doing it, but then there car ends up being a 4 speed. is it possible to just take a whole stick tranny out and swap it in? the thing is, there is a 92 talon TSi FWD for 3250 for sale in my town. it has 15,000 miles on the new engine, and 75 on the body. itz leather and has a sunroff. but itz auto :( i hate autos. is it possible to change it? thanx!

Yes it's possible, quite a few people have done it sucessfully. And it would be 5 spd since you'd be using a manual tranny from a MT DSM.
Off the top of my head you will need,
pedal assembly
clutch
flywheel
manual tranny
shift cables
shifter
center console
slave cylinder
clutch master cylinder

...and some time
