I just set my boost to 18 psi on my b16G. It was at 20 psi till i logged the car and found out the injector duty cyle was at 113% at one point. So my 550's are cutting it and i found a good deal for 720's. I'd like to run 20 psi. Should i pass the 660's and go right to 720's, or is it overkill for my turbo?

With the maft, those should be fine (if you only had the afc, I would say "go with the 660's for idle purposes" but w/ the maft, you don't have to worry about that). As long as your a/f is good and you aren't knocking the extra timing from the reduced airflow map is only a good thing. Go with the good deal and try for a little more boost especially with the fmic. Just watch that knock.

u will be able to idle fine with a the 720's. I'm running them along with a number of others here in SD. I had 720s when I had the b16g on my car and it ran fine. Just takes a lil more to tune but other then that it's fine.

but we have crappy 91 octane here for out best pump gas. Thats why everyone goes either 550s which get maxed out fast or 720's. If we had 94 octane we'll can get by with 660's. Also the 720's leave lots of room for upgraing the b16 to something with some more balls.

How do u like the 60-1? is it a garret kit or a hybrid turbo?

thats cause you have 94 octane..

but I'm going with 660s with my Big16g. I plan to occasionally push it to 24-25psi if the wastegate doesn't open up on me before than...of course this is only on race gas...and only because I have a big FMIC that will cool down the slightly hotter air.
