2g mas on otherwise stock 1g

Yea could i run the intake pipe that dejontool sells that has the 2g mas on it on a otherwise stock 1g? idle be ok? how about performance, it should be a little better than just the normal intake pipe with the 1g maf rite?

The 2g MAS flows more air than a 1g MAS. Using it by itself without a fuel computer and larger injectors is asking for trouble. You will probably run the motor lean and risk the chance of hurting your car. Stick with the stock mas until you NEED more flow from your intake.

Just noticed that you have a non turbo. I dont know why you would want to change the MAS in the first place?

I thought there was a section for "Non-Turbo Performance?" As cheap as a 1GT is these days, I would waste the money for a K&N on a 1G NT.

ahaha i knew i shoulda said it, im sellin my car soon and am gettin ahead of myself with mods, i aint couldnt put a turbo intake from dejon tool on my car in the first place, ! yea but thanx for whoever answered my question, i guess i shall get the norm one then
