Well, I have made that dreaded trip to the dyno once more. Left making 481whp and 365 ft-lb's of torque. Mod list is listed under the first pic in my gallery. (27psi, c-16)

My last trip was with a Frank 7. I made 415 whp and 380 ft-lb's. I was a little disappointed, with the mods I have on my car.

After talking with a friend about turbo housings and exhaust/intake manifold pressures, I decided to go with SCM61 turbo from PTE.

Well my first pulls were disappointing again. I lost power and made only 360 whp on the first couple of pulls. I backed it off the dyno and did some thinking.
Again the same friend asked what my timing was, and it dawned on me that I had screwed with it about a month ago. I was trying to do some tuning with the new turbo and had retarded it. I adjusted the timing, which was retarded like me, and waited my turn.
That was the trick, I made 480 whp and 359 ft-lb's of torque. Much relieved, I am going to do some more tuning with fuel and hopefully when I run it up to 9000rpm, I can break 500whp. If you notice, the HP curve was still climbing when I let out.

Anyone have any thoughts on staying in it until 9000rpm?

Think the curve will continue to climb?

I have a question real quick for ya: I have a 1995 TSI FWD and i'm putting down about 300fwhp....at the strip I blew my tranny! could be my driving, launched at 3000RPM's and blew a spider gear threw my bell housing. my question is, what are you running for traction/suspension setups for street/strip? I can't have this happen again! BTW, you ride is def. sick. good luck with it man.

For the 11.9 run, I had to keep the boost down to 24psi, because anything higher than that caused the slicks to spin, even in third.

For traction at the strip, I have Adjustable kyb's, that are set to firm(8) in the rear, and soft(3) in the front. I was using M&H 24.5 x 9 x 15 on Kosei K-1 wheels, but it needs biger slicks or smaller rims (more sidewall).

For traction on the street, forget it, there is none below 100mph.

I am actually selling the car and getting a new 3 series to mess with. Let me know if you have anyone interested. $8000
