just wondering what can be used from a 2.0 turbo on a 2.0 nt? like the cams and all that crap :D

without putting a turbo on ur car i dont think anything off a turbo car will make u any faster, but the n/t 1g 4g63 and the turbo 1g 4g63 are the same engine, every internal part can be swapped, but unless ur converting to turbo i dont see how thats going to help u any

negative. the turbo car uses a 225 mm clutch instead of 215 mm...the clutch/flywheel/tranny have to be used as a package. If you use the turbo flywheel/clutch then you can use the turbo tranny.

but all the engine parts are interchangeable? cause when i look for parts only thing i can find is turbo parts :|

only reason i am asking is cause i am on my way of trying to make show car and aftermarket parts for a car is better $$ than OEM.. (i have called) so i was wondering if like Fuel Injectors, Polished Manifold, intakes,. and other crap liek that would work from a turbo in a NT

it will bolt up and look nice, but like i said before, if the car doent have a turbo on it its not going to run right with turbo parts on it, if u want to tow it to shows put all the shiny turbo parts on the car u want, but dont expect it to be driveable
for example, stock injectors out of a turbo car are too big for u to run, aftermarket ones going to be far to big, an safc cant even be turned down enough to let u run 550s on a n/t unless its built and needs all that fuel

major parts that are different
cams-turbo has more aggressive cams, can be swapped no problem
ecu
injectors
all the turbo and piping, same intake manifold and throttlebody
bigger radiator
heads are identical(except cams)
blocks are the same except the turbo block has oil squirters that shoot oil at the bottom of the pistons to help cool them down, and the internals are different. turbo has lower compression, but the same rods
what parts are you looking to swap?
these are just off the top of my head...i'm sure theres a few more

Some parts can work and some can't. You have to know and learn the engines to decide. I'm sure no one is going to make a list up for you. It'll be time consuming and tedious.

Haha would u see any gain by swappin on a stock turbo catback exhuast? how about the cat itself, does that flow any better? im pretty sure the turbo cars have bigger exhuast, and if it was free why not right?

i totaled my laser 2night jsut spent 7 hrs in hospital... found another i am goign to get 92 eclipse nt and reason i am still going nt find me a turbo 92 automatic that is 900$ widout a spot or rust and runs :D

the 2.0nt and 2.0turbo exhausts are both 2.25" however, the turbo muffler is a bit better.

the 2 litre nt is 2 inch exhaust.....and it has 2 more resinators than the trubo exhaust......so the turbo one is less restrictive because it has 2 1/4 inch piping. the mufflers are the same.
look it up in the stock replacement catalogue(walker) they are different part numbers for the cat back, but the mufflers are the same number. look at the piping in the stock replacement catalogue the are different. and look at the catalogue and again and you will see 2 more resinators on the nont turbo.
there are different and you will see a bit of a gain with the turbo exhaust

first off,we are talking about the cat-back,because thats what he asked about. the resonators are in front of the cat,and the exhausts are the same diameter, the 1.8 exhaust was the only one that was smaller. as far as the mufflers being the same,i have both 2.0NT and 2.0T mufflers in my possesion, they are not the same. i don't have a digital camera, but if you still don't believe me,i could probably borrow one just to prove my point.

I agree. I had to weld a turbo downpipe to my existing n/t exhaust because the downpipe didn't come with a flange. Same diameter.
