Has anyone bought the Manifold from dsmparts.com?

I was wanting to know if anyone out there has a www.dsmparts.com exaust manifold the one that Mitsu turbo's such as t25,t28,14b,16g,big16g,ect...turbos can bolt to ?
I am wanting to know if they saw any spool up time diffrence ect....
any help will be great thanks alot!

I've got it, but my car is currently not running... I'm doing a head swap. I'll make sure and post as soon as it's running and let you guys know of any problem. (cracking, etc...) It's an awesome looking piece though...

I would think you would want less bends and shorter piping.

The more heat that the turbo can hold the better it will respond.

All the bends cause the exhaust to heat the manifold up more and less will be seen at the turbo. It also slows down the exhaust gases.

Even though this isn't DSM related the situation should still be similar. A buddy of mine is running a T4 setup on his SR20, he has 2 different manifolds one that has longer piping which allowed the turbo to be mounted bottom side, the other has short piping and mounts the turbo on the top. After running the bottom mount manifold and pulling the turbo it hardly had any heat marks, also the car didn't make as much power as it has on the short route style manifold.

I doubt this is coincidence and may not apply to this manifold, but in theory it makes sense and you might want to look into a shorter tubed manifold.

Nah I think I will stick with this one and not a shorter one which will end up giving me problems like matching up to diffrent thing's I have so I will stay with this one !

That is the Dnperformance header, and they strongly recommend header wrap or ceramic coating. I called JetHot to have my Dnp header and FP o2 housing done. For the JetHot 2400* black the cost was 120 for the mani and 20 for the 02.

I would think you would want less bends and shorter piping.

This header is an equal length design, making the exhaust pulses reach the turbo in an orderly fashion, rather than the stock manifold where the pulses collide into each other entering the turbine.

Well since I posted above I had forgotten about this thread. My car is running now and the manifold has performed flawlessly. I haven't wrapped it and it hasn't given me problems yet... It does sit VERY close to the upper radiator hose so I prolly will wrap it... Since I installed it, it has changed to like 20 different colors... It's pretty neat and is definetely an improvement over the stocker...

Does your turbo spool better? How about top end?
