Underdrive Crank Pulley..........

anyone know a cheap & dependable place to get one of these? I have a 98 spyder gs...i've heard only the gst crank pulleys will fit being it's a 4g64 engine and not 420a. let me know...thanks!

i dont think they make them for your engine. i never seen them before. they might but i never seen them. only for 4g63

duh. i know that. they don't. that's why i said i want a underdrive crank pulley for a gst...because they are the exact same. check the part number. sorry i must have mis-worded the first post a little.


let's put it this way....does anyone know where i can get a gst crank pulley for cheap?

Check out Howell automotive. They specialize in 420A motors in Neons and PT crusiers. Talons and Eclipses too.

This is the cheapest one I've seen. I don't know if it will work or not you'll have to read more into it. I would call them, sometimes the stock items and don't post them because they're not a popular sale item. This might be the case

Has a GS. It has a 420A motor in it. The dsm performance one will not work.

I do have a DSM P underdrive pulley on my motor. I just got the motor in today and have not finished putting everything back in yet. VERY nice looking peice and I have heard of other people having god luck with it.

I have an underdrive pulley from a company called Pro1. My brother-in-law got it for me (he has a shop) for about $50. Not sure of the real retail price, but probably around $60-70. If anyone's interested, I'll ask him where/how he got it.

not a 420a. spyder gs's have a 4g64...2.4L. that's why i'm asking where to buy a GST crank pulley...because the part numbers on the gst and spyder gs stock crank pulleys are the same. they share some of the same parts...but my engine is entirely different from the 420a. i need a crank pulley made for a GST. that's the only thing that will fit.

Well, I found out tonight that I brain-farted on the price-- it was about $90 wholesale and would be about $140-$150 retail. I don't know why the large markup, but that's what I was told. Sorry for speaking out of my posterior in the original post...

DUHH!!! I did not see the Spyder. I feel like a retard now.
