How much psi can a 1G BOV hold? I have a greddy Type-s and the adjuster unthreaded itself so I think I might go with a 1G? Also does the 1G sound loud or is it quiet? Any info would be helpful.
Thank you

My 1g bov uncrushed started leaking at 16-17ish. I now have an HKS ssq. I figure if Supras running 40+ psi use them, it'll surely be able to hold my 25 psi. The 1g was loud once I installed my Injen intake, but it's not as loud as the hks.

I've got a 1g BOV with the mod done:

I've had it on the car and hit over 30 psi on accident and it held. I also made my own tester at home and got it to almost 45 psi before it started to leak.

The 1g isn't the loudest thing out there, but it's loud enough and functional enough to get the job done and that's enough for most of us. Besides, it's cheap and easy to get your hands on.
