mods: 60 trim, 35mm tial, walbro 255, sx afpr, 750's, S-AFC, 2g mas, 3' down pipe, fmic, I think that's all that matters.

The car starts up fine but idols a little rough and stays at about 1200 rpms( I tried to turn it down but that's as low as it'll go). When I try to rev it the engine bogs but if you keep reving it'll start to run smoother above 3k rpms. When I drive it barely runs in the lower rpm range but once I get above 3k or so it starts to run better but there still isn't any power. Basicly it idols ok but when I put load on the motor it starts missing really bad in the lower rpm range. I know the afc is hook up right but I'm thinking maybe the problem is in the 2g mas. It's also got brand new plugs and wires. I'm pretty sure it's not a boost leak but I'll know for sure tomarrow. Is it possible that the old gas in the tank is the problem? The car seems to be running rich at -40 on the afc but that doesn't seem right since it has a 2g mas. I leaned it out to -50 and the plugs looked better but it still seems a little rich( but not rich enough to make it run like ass). I'm stumped I can't get it to run good enough to get a decent log in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Carl

1. Tune the AFC with a logger, nothing else.

2. What did this "rebuild" consist of?

3. Don't say "well, ccould it be this problem that I have?" If you think that is a possibility, then try fixing it, and if it works, then, well, you fixed it.

Do you have a after market BOV? or are you sure it is working correctly? seems to me if it starts to run better when your geting around the boosting range.. it would be something with the intake.

I had a similer problem just the other day. My fuel pressure regulator hose had dry rotted... I ran around with it runing pig rich with no boost and lean with boost... (acording to some one on the fourm) seems to me it would be the other way around...

But I wish you the best of luck finding out whats wrong as soon as posible.
