I have my valve maxed out all the way, but it wont wont boost any more than 12ish psi. its a valve I got at Home Depot, maybe that is why? its opened all the way. what is wrong¿

I was just searching and it sounds like boost creep. What it does is i'll put it to the floor and it will go to 11 or so on an aftermarket boost guage then like 5000 and on it will go higher. My friends turbo coupe shoots rite up to its boost level. Is something wrong with the valve. I mean a valve is a valve it regulates air going threw it.

any info????

ya there arn't any boost leaks and mbc is opened all the way. It will steady boost to 9 pounds then at around 5800-6500 it will creep slowly up to 14. I've checked everything, nothings loose or leaking the hoses are new. I'm really getting fustrated because my car would be so much faster if It would boot 14 all the time. But the valve is opened all the way and I only hit 14... somethings wrong, plust i got a stock turbo.

ANY HELP NECCESSARY!!
thanks

ya LOL. That was the problem. Well now I have it set at 15 and in first it will shoot to 15 and then in 2nd and on it will go to 15 for less than a sec. and go back to 12. Why can't I just have a steady boost of 15 all the time?

thanks
