Wonderful , i buy a dsm with a stipped flywheel...yeah it just needs a starter....riiiight , anyone know if i can possibly fix the flywheel withought removing the engine?...and where i can get a light weight one? - Dale thanks in advance
 
wow you people are critical...jeebus....thanks alot defiant, i worked in parts since im 14... and people have come in asking for the big gear the starter turns...i dident think calling it the "flywheel" instead of the "flexplate" would be so repremandable. i kind of feel like alittle kid that got yelled at , im hurt guys.. hurt..:cry: , on a different note thanks again defiant for the help , im doing all my work myself here and apriciate the straight forward awnser. any more info on doing the job would be helpfull. - Dale
 
BTW dsmjim , even tho you poked fun at my terminolgy (and im sure il get a commet on bad grammer soon) i like your car bro , looks nice , goes fast , respectable ride :thumb:

Its not big a deal at all, thats why were poking fun so much. It's just funny thats all. :p We have all made a dumb mistake and been ridden about it, no biggie...
