Do I NEED the oil cooler?

I know that an oil cooler is kind of nice to have, but I am sick of mine leaking all the time and thinking about getting another one off diamondstarmotorsports.com that is not an oil cooler.

Does it make a big enough diffrence to try to get another oil cooler instead?

why dont you just fix yoru stock one? there are very few parts that can go wrong, and it will cost you much less to fix than to buy another cooler for it

Do you know of a website for them? None of the local parts places have any parts for it that show up on the computer.

buy a universal one and fabricate some brackets to mount it to the frame

You shouldn't have an external one on a 91' model year car.

If you are talking about a water line or something, that's different.

90 Style external oil cooler, will cost you about $250 if you use a Setrab core. Plus the oil filter housing as well.

u can buy aftermarket oil coolers, the one i saw looked like a little intercooler, they are supposed to work alot better then stock ones, might be somethig for u to look into

I wouldn't not have an Oil cooler...even the Oil filter is right next to the downpipe...so yeh...even more of a reason to have one.

It is a very important thing to have.Because your motor should have an oil squirter for each piston form the main oil galley.The squirters, sqirt "cooled" oil from the oil cooler on to the bottom of the pistons to keep them cool.
