I've got every mod I need, but still my car doesn't seem fast. On my old car I, fwd, I didn't have a fuel pump or injectors, but still ran 20psi on a Big 16g Evo, and it pulled really hard. Now I got an awd, w/ 255lph and 650cc injectors, along w/ an S-AFC, and running 20psi on a 16g, but it seems like it should be a lot faster. I've tried everything. When I try to lean out the Hi-Throttle above 30% it feels like it doesn't want to move and like rocks back and forth. I've foudn the leaning it out makes it faster, and have tested every %, and now its almost leaned all the way out 48% and it still doesn't seem all that fast. Its a new turbo, and I've checked for boost leaks too by tightening down everything good, but still I'm not anyone as fast as I should be. Any suggestions?

Buy a datalogger and actually tune your car the correct way. not just trying random fuel setting by your ass dyno. what a concept

are you leaning it out like that on pump gas? if so you deserve any shit that jdm gives you. your car is "rocking" from fuel starvation. use race gas and datalog it.

Also, it is VERY important to note that you CANNOT check for boost leaks by "tightening everything down good."

You need to pressurize the intake track. Have to have to have to.

And, it's "well" not "good.";)

It is that lean on pump 93 octane gas. The cars not running like crap or anything its tunning good, still fast, just not as fast as I was hoping it'd be. It runs better the leaner I go, and gets faster that way. The egts are fine, and a/f is reading good. I know you really need something to pressurize the system to check for boost leaks, but all I did was tighten down the clamps because its was diffently leaking boost a while ago. I've looked at other peoples AFC settings, and see theres up in like -5%, but my car seems not to like going richer then -35%, and starts to run a lot smoother and better when its leaner.

Lean mixtures make more power to a point. (hence ppl use Nitrous) HOWEVER... as lean as your going all the time on pump... your more than likely giveing that engine hell... go to a shop with a wide ban O2 or get a dataloger.. SOMETHING..

Going really lean on the AFC settings is a sign of boost leaks.

Also, the AWD car is heavier and has more driveline losses, so it won't feel as fast as a FWD with the same setup. I know because I did the same thing. I even got about 20 more HP in the AWD and it didn't have the same hard pull in 3rd gear as the FWD did.
